Aurora Orthopaedic Massage & Wellness offers therapeutic massage treatments at their location inside EVOLVE Strength Royal Oak. The clinic is staffed by two registered massage therapists: Kristen Holmen, who specializes in mobility and maintenance massage for active individuals using passive stretching and range-of-motion work, and Taylor Beaudry (owner and director), who provides orthopaedic massage focused on injury rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Taylor completed her 2200-hour RMT certification at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine with specialized orthopaedic training, including an internship under experienced orthopaedic massage therapists, and treats acute and chronic conditions including postural dysfunction, low back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and joint-related discomfort. The clinic offers three service options: mobility and maintenance massage for flexibility and recovery; orthopaedic assessment and massage (initial appointments including comprehensive injury assessment and treatment planning); and follow-up orthopaedic massage sessions that may incorporate progress assessment and remedial exercises. Treatments are designed to address the root cause of pain and movement restrictions rather than symptoms alone, with individualized treatment plans based on each client's functional and recovery goals.
