About Calming the Chaos Massage
Linda, owner of Calming the Chaos Massage Therapy, studied at Vicars School of Massage Therapy (2,200-hour program) and specialized training through Liddle Kidz Foundation in pediatric massage, infant massage, and touch therapy for autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing disorder. She holds certifications in story massage, kinetic massage and active release therapy, infant massage instruction, prenatal massage, hot stone therapy, myofascial cupping, and kids yoga. The clinic offers touch therapy for autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing disorder, story massage for preschool-aged children and those with special needs, therapeutic and relaxation massage for general muscular aches and stress relief, pediatric massage for school-aged children, prenatal massage, infant massage instruction for parents and caregivers, myofascial cupping, hot stone therapy, and pelvic health massage (external, coming October 2024). All one-hour sessions include a 15-minute pre-massage assessment and five-minute post-massage home care plan demonstration. The clinic incorporates kinesiology and movement-based techniques alongside traditional massage to address soft tissue restrictions. Direct billing is available for most major insurance companies.
