Phuan Thai Acupuncture & Massage is a home-based clinic in southeast Calgary operated by Dr. Ac. Jira Suwanrot, who holds diplomas in acupuncture, traditional Thai massage, Thai aromatherapy, reflexology, Swedish massage, European seated massage, therapeutic massage, hot and cold stone massage, and facial therapy. She is a registered professional massage therapist and member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and the College of Acupturists of Alberta. The clinic offers acupuncture, traditional Thai massage (performed on floor mats in loose clothing, combining yoga-like postures with compression techniques to restore energy flow and increase flexibility and range of motion), prenatal and postpartum massage for joint relief and muscle flexibility, hot and cold stone therapy for chronic muscle tension and arthritis pain, and reflexology. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and the practitioner accepts insurance receipts; walk-in appointments are not accepted and advance booking is required.
